Mechanic for Automotive Repair Shop in Mombasa, Kenya


We are a busy automotive repair shop located in Mombasa, Kenya and we are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As the Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicles including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both Indian and Pakistani vehicle models and must be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and accurately to meet customer satisfaction
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in an automotive repair shop setting
- Experience working with Indian and Pakistani vehicle models is preferred
- Must have strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Excellent communication skills in English is required to effectively communicate with team members and customers
- Must have own tools to complete repairs (specialty tools provided by the company)
- Biometric passport is preferred for ease of travel between countries if necessary

Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position starts at $1600 per month depending on experience. We also offer accommodation for our employees. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.
