Floral Designer
Location: Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team in Nakuru. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating and arranging floral displays for various occasions such as weddings, events, and everyday arrangements. Your main duties will include selecting and purchasing flowers, designing and arranging bouquets and centerpieces, maintaining the shop's inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Selecting and purchasing high-quality flowers from suppliers
- Designing and arranging floral displays according to client's preferences and budget
- Maintaining the shop's inventory by organizing and restocking supplies
- Providing exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs
- Promoting the shop's products through social media platforms
- Collaborating with event planners to create stunning floral arrangements for weddings and other special events

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Creativity and artistic ability to design unique arrangements
- Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines for events
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous experience working with Indian clientele is preferred

Education/Certification Requirements:
A certificate or diploma in Floristry or a related field is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.

Contract:
This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Accommodation:
This job does not include accommodation; therefore it is preferable that candidates already have accommodation in Nakuru.

Passport Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for international travel. Indian nationals are preferred for this position.
