Formwork Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of formwork for concrete structures in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications to determine formwork requirements
- Construct and assemble formwork using various materials such as lumber, plywood, steel, and aluminum
- Install anchor bolts, braces, scaffolding, and other support structures as needed
- Pour, level, and finish concrete into formwork according to project specifications
- Remove formwork after concrete has cured and inspect for any defects or issues
- Repair or replace damaged or worn formwork components as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and practices while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in carpentry or construction is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork construction on commercial or residential projects
- Experience reading blueprints and following project plans and specifications
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment related to formwork installation
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
