Librarian (Contract) - Lom, India



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Lom, India on a contract basis. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection, assisting patrons with research requests, and maintaining the overall organization of the library.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage library collection, including cataloging and shelving books and other materials
- Assist patrons with research requests and provide guidance in using library resources
- Maintain library organization and cleanliness
- Develop and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and learning
- Keep track of library inventory and order new materials as needed
- Train and supervise library staff and volunteers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patrons of all ages
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evening or weekend shifts when necessary
