Executive Chef Job Description:
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Washington. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and staff management. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1500 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus that align with current food trends and customer preferences
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes to ensure high-quality and consistent taste
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain appropriate levels of ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent culinary experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and create budgets
- Excellent communication skills in English
