Executive Chef



We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Eldoret. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing dishes for our guests. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$.

Responsibilities:
- Create and design new menus that align with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets our high standards
- Train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to menu items as necessary
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining quality and consistency
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a fine dining establishment
- Experience working with diverse ingredients and dietary restrictions
- Knowledge of local African cuisine
