Merchandiser (Eldoret, Kenya)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandiser to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. The primary responsibility of the Merchandiser will be to ensure that our products are properly displayed and stocked in retail stores. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with store managers and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores on a regular basis to check product display and stock levels
- Negotiate with store managers for optimal product placement and promotion opportunities
- Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues
- Create appealing product displays using visual merchandising techniques
- Train store staff on product knowledge and promotions
- Monitor sales performance of products in each store and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with visual merchandising techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region

Salary: $1700 per month + accommodation (if required)
