Contract Interpreter - Khanpur

We are seeking a skilled Contract Interpreter to join our team in Khanpur. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely translation services in a variety of settings including business meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. This is a contract position without accommodation, so owning your own visa and accommodations is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services between English and the target language (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
- Accurately convey the meaning and tone of the original message
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all interpretation assignments
- Prepare for interpretation assignments by researching terminology and subject matter
- Ensure that all documents are accurately translated and proofread before submission
- Act as a cultural liaison between parties to facilitate effective communication
- Attend meetings and events as requested by clients
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistency in message delivery

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and the target language (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain neutrality while interpreting sensitive or emotional topics
- Strong research skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Experience as an interpreter preferred but not required
