Excavator Operator


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team in Salalah. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of the excavator.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the equipment before use
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the equipment
- Read and interpret plans, maps, and drawings to determine the location of excavation work
- Communicate with project manager and team members to ensure smooth operation and completion of tasks
- Perform minor repairs on equipment as needed
- Keep track of materials moved during excavation work
- Ensure proper placement of excavated materials for disposal or reuse
- Monitor fuel levels and refuel as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an excavator operator in a construction setting
- Valid certification for operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read plans, maps, and drawings
- Physically fit to operate heavy machinery for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Salalah (Preference for Indian nationals)
