We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Cashier to join our team in Utena, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Monitor and reconcile cash drawers
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean and well-stocked at all times
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and refunds
- Assist with inventory management as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
