DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Akron. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our software delivery pipelines, ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of our products. This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated software delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity
- Configure and maintain infrastructure components such as servers, databases, and cloud services
- Monitor system health and performance to ensure reliability and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure
- Collaborate with developers to improve application performance and stability
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the efficiency of the software delivery process
- Provide guidance on best practices for managing code repositories, build processes, deployment strategies, etc.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure
- In-depth understanding of source control systems (Git, SVN)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Prior experience in software development.
