Radio Technician



We are hiring a qualified Radio Technician to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for communication purposes. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, conducting regular maintenance checks, and ensuring that the equipment is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related components
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure functionality and identify any potential issues
- Troubleshoot and repair technical problems with radio equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on radio equipment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements as needed
- Adhere to safety procedures while working with radio equipment to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth communication processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in using tools and testing equipment to diagnose technical issues
- Good understanding of radio frequency spectrum management principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600 USD per month.

Location:
This job is located in Nakuru, Kenya.

Nationality Preference:
This job is open to all nationalities; however, preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English.
