Equipment Operator - Atlanta, USA


Our company is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Atlanta. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of equipment used in construction and other industries.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes
- Safely operate equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete tasks accurately and efficiently

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Preferred:
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
- Experience operating specific types of equipment (e.g. excavator or bulldozer)
- Familiarity with GPS systems for precision operation
