Typesetter - Moscow

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Moscow. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for composing and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for various print and digital publications. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency in typography and design software.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with editors and designers to understand the publication's style and tone
- Format text according to established design templates
- Select appropriate fonts, sizes, and spacing for maximum legibility
- Manipulate images and graphics to enhance the overall layout
- Proofread final layouts for accuracy and consistency
- Ensure all materials are prepared for printing or digital distribution

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Knowledge of typography, layout, and design principles
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Russian language skills are a plus)

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Moscow (Preference for Indian nationals or those with experience working in India)

Employment type: Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Experience required: Minimum 1 year of experience in typesetting or graphic design

Accommodation: This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Moscow.

Student-friendly: This position is suitable for students looking for full-time employment during the summer break or part-time during the academic year. Time off can be negotiated with prior notice.
