Database Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's databases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of database concepts, SQL programming, and database management tools. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. The Database Administrator will also handle data backups, security measures, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement databases based on business needs
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure data integrity by implementing proper security measures
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database usage for applications
- Stay updated on the latest database technologies and suggest improvements or upgrades when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database concepts (relational databases, SQL)
- Experience with database management tools (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Salary: $1600 per month
