Part-Time Database Administrator



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Karachi. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and optimize as needed
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Implement backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Collaborate with the development team to design efficient database structures
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regular audits
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or other database management systems
- Experience with database security protocols and disaster recovery strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Karachi but remote work options can be considered for exceptional candidates.
