Smelter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the smelting process. This is a contract position suitable for men without the need for English language skills or prior experience in the field. The salary for this role is 1700$ per month with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment to melt and refine metals
- Maintain appropriate temperatures and settings for efficient operation
- Monitor and adjust chemical mixtures as needed
- Inspect and clean equipment regularly to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a smelting facility preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:
The work of a Smelter Operator can be physically demanding, requiring long periods of standing, lifting, and exposure to high temperatures. The role may also involve working in confined spaces or wearing protective gear. It is essential that all safety procedures are followed at all times.
