Smelter Operator - Eldoret, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining furnaces and other equipment used in the smelting process. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and be able to work efficiently under pressure. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate furnaces and other equipment used in the smelting process
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Work efficiently to meet production targets

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Smelter Operator or in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Good understanding of furnace operations and maintenance procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with different types of metals and alloys
- Prior experience using various tools and machinery related to smelting processes

Salary:
$1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
