Executive Chef - Nepali Cuisine


An upscale restaurant in Herzliya is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team and lead our Nepali cuisine kitchen. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a unique menu that showcases the rich flavors and techniques of Nepali cuisine while also maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a creative, authentic, and seasonal menu for the Nepali cuisine section
- Manage all aspects of food preparation, production, and plating to ensure consistency and quality
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain freshness
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in accordance with health code standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new ideas for promotions, events, or special menus

Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Nepali cuisine is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Nepali ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; knowledge of Nepali language is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month with potential for growth based on performance. Visa sponsorship can be provided for suitable candidates.
