Registered Nurse - Mombasa
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Mombasa. As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing patient health needs and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the physician
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and self-care techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all care provided
- Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients during their stay
Requirements:
- A valid nursing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a registered nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with the ability to provide empathetic care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical records system
-Speaks Malayalam fluently
