Formworker - Gujrat, India



We are a leading construction company looking for a skilled Formworker to join our team in Gujrat, India. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up concrete forms to shape and support concrete structures such as walls, floors, and columns. In this role, you will use your experience and expertise to ensure that all formwork is accurately constructed according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans and blueprints to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials including wood, metal, and plastic to create formwork
- Set up formwork using hand tools and power tools
- Pour and spread concrete to create forms
- Use various techniques to ensure proper alignment of formwork
- Monitor concrete curing process and make adjustments as needed
- Remove formwork once concrete has set
- Inspect completed forms for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of different types of formwork systems
- Ability to read plans and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Good understanding of concrete mixing ratios and curing process
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Biometric passport required
- Must be able to work without accommodation
