Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine and record the exact location, boundaries, and features of a specific piece of land. You will use specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels to collect data and create accurate maps and reports. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that projects are built according to specifications. This position may involve occasional travel to different sites and working in various weather conditions.
To excel in this role, you must have a degree in surveying or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a land surveyor. You should also be proficient in using surveying software and have strong mathematical skills. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are also essential for this position.
As this is a contract job, you will be hired on a project-by-project basis. However, if you are reliable and produce high-quality work, there may be opportunities for long-term employment. The salary for this role is $1400 per month.
This position is based in Vilnius but may require occasional travel within Lithuania or abroad. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the project.
This is an ideal opportunity for Canadians or Nepali nationals who have experience in land surveying and are looking for short-term employment abroad. English fluency is required for this role as you will be working with an international team.
