Caregiver for Senior Citizens

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for Senior Citizens to join our team in Khasab. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to senior citizens who may have difficulty performing daily tasks due to age, illness, or disability. Your responsibilities will include helping with personal care such as bathing and dressing, preparing meals, administering medication, and assisting with mobility. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to ensure the well-being of our clients.

To excel in this role, you must have a natural love for working with the elderly and possess excellent communication skills. You should be patient, understanding, and able to respond calmly in difficult situations. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior citizens with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with senior citizens
- Monitor changes in health and report any concerns to the appropriate parties
- Assist with mobility such as transferring from bed to wheelchair
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior citizen

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be physically fit and able to lift/move up to 25lbs

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with flexible hours. Some weekends may be required depending on client needs. The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
