Executive Chef
Location: Las Vegas, USA
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Las Vegas. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, creating innovative menus, and ensuring high-quality food is consistently delivered to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a diverse and dynamic menu that showcases seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient operation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and service
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Collaborate with management to develop new promotions or events to attract guests
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven ability to create innovative menus while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Knowledge of current food trends and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1600 per week
