Job Title: IT Support Specialist - Akron, USA

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Akron. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, as well as troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to clients via phone, email or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers, computers, and networks
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Set up user accounts and passwords for new employees
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software licenses and hardware peripherals
- Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
- Ensure all work is carried out within agreed service levels
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networks and peripherals
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS environments
- Experience with various help desk software (e.g. Zendesk)
- Good understanding of computer repair techniques
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
to non-tech savvy individuals
-Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
-Highly customer-oriented with a passion for problem-solving
-Degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred

Salary: $1000 per month
