Head Chef - Multan, Pakistan


Our 5-star hotel in Multan is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menus that reflect the local culture and use fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Plan and organize food preparation according to guest numbers and special events
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain cost control measures
- Manage kitchen staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining labor costs within budget
- Collaborate with other departments to create special menus for events or promotions
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and work areas

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani cuisine as well as international cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creative mindset with an eye for presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Urdu is an asset)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
