We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Dickirch. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in a visually pleasing and cohesive manner for various print and digital publications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read, analyze, and interpret manuscripts to understand the layout and design requirements
- Choose appropriate fonts, styles, and sizes for text based on the content and target audience
- Create layout templates for different types of publications using desktop publishing software
- Adjust spacing, margins, and alignment to ensure consistency throughout the document
- Insert images, graphs, tables, and other visual elements in the appropriate places within the text
- Proofread final layouts to ensure accuracy of text, images, and formatting
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and designers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to improve efficiency and quality of work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of typography principles and design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail with excellent visual judgement
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising on quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members from various departments
- Familiarity with printing processes is a plus

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Dickirch. While we welcome applicants from all nationalities, proficiency in English is required.
