We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and implementing them in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Android development tools and frameworks such as Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, and Firebase. Previous experience with UI/UX design and integration of third-party APIs is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java or Kotlin programming languages
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to enhance app functionality
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile app development and suggest improvements for current projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Java or Kotlin programming languages
- Strong understanding of mobile app development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, etc.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of push notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and Google Play Services
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills

Salary:
We offer a salary of 1400$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Los Angeles. Candidates from other cities or countries are welcome to apply, but they must have a valid biometric passport and be able to work without accommodation.

This is a full-time position, but part-time options may be available for exceptional candidates. English proficiency is required, and preference will be given to Kenyan candidates.
