Office Assistant
We are a growing business in Sharjah and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff, managing office supplies, and maintaining office equipment. This is an ideal position for individuals who have excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Greeting clients and visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and well-informed.
- Managing the filing system, including organizing and labeling documents.
- Assisting with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining databases.
- Ordering office supplies and keeping track of inventory levels.
- Coordinating with vendors for office maintenance and repairs.
- Assisting in scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Keeping the reception area clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English is a must.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills.
- Indian nationality preferred but not required.
- Must have own visa or be on a spouse/parent visa in UAE.
Salary: AED 1400 per month.
