Office Assistant
Our office in Sharjah is seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assist with daily office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when needed
- Organize and schedule appointments for staff members
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and other documents as requested
- Assist with data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and bookkeeping
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Must have legal authorization to work in Sharjah
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
