Blast Furnace Operator
Location: Nakuru, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces used in the production of iron and steel. Your main duties will include loading materials into the furnace, monitoring temperatures and pressure levels, adjusting controls as needed, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with blast furnaces and a strong understanding of the iron and steel production process. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
