Job Title: Plasterboard Worker



The ideal candidate for this position will have experience and knowledge in the field of plasterboard installation. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential and commercial buildings. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific spaces, and use hand tools and equipment such as saws, drills, and hammers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Secure plasterboard panels to frames using screws or adhesive
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by filling joints with compound and smoothing them out with a trowel
- Apply tape over joints between plasterboard panels to create a seamless finish
- Sand down dried compound to create smooth surfaces ready for painting or wallpapering
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboards and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physical strength and stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Good understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment
