Typesetter in Utena

Our publishing company in Utena is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in typesetting for print and digital media, as well as a strong understanding of design principles. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month, and we provide accommodation, free visa, and ticket for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset text and images for various print and digital materials, including books, magazines, brochures, and websites
- Ensure correct typography, layout, and formatting according to established style guides
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality end products
- Make adjustments and revisions as needed based on feedback from clients or team members
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in typesetting for print and digital media
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of design principles such as typography, layout, color theory, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- A portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work is preferred
