Job Title: Floral Designer and Arranger

We are seeking a skilled Floral Designer and Arranger to join our team in Eldoret. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and create designs that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions using your creativity and knowledge of different flowers and plants
- Discuss design ideas with clients and provide suggestions based on their preferences, budget, and the event theme
- Source flowers, plants, and other materials from suppliers while ensuring quality standards are met
- Prepare flowers for arranging by trimming stems, removing thorns, and conditioning them appropriately
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers while keeping in mind color schemes, textures, and balance
- Add decorative elements such as ribbons or greenery to enhance the arrangement
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure they are well-stocked at all times
- Assist with deliveries and set up of flower arrangements at event venues when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Strong design skills with the ability to create unique arrangements based on client preferences
- Good communication skills to understand client needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products
- Physical stamina as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects

Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Floristry or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in a flower shop or similar environment is an asset

Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
