Blast Furnace Worker

We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Worker to join our team at our steel manufacturing plant in Split. As a Blast Furnace Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace equipment to produce molten iron. This is a physically demanding role that requires working in extreme temperatures and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace equipment to ensure efficient production of molten iron
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on the equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and other conditions within the blast furnace
- Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a blast furnace or similar industrial setting preferred but not required
- Physically fit and able to work in extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical systems
- Attention to detail and strong record keeping skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.
