Miner - Nakuru, Kenya



We are in need of experienced miners to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a miner, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to extract minerals and ores from the earth. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role and be physically fit to perform manual labor.

Responsibilities:
- Operate drills, excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment to extract minerals from the ground
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Inspect machinery for any defects or malfunctions before use
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and equipment maintenance
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a miner or in a similar role
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and safety in mind
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a mining environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical training preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Contract:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. There may be potential for extension based on performance.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must arrange their own housing during the duration of the contract.

Location:
This position is located in Nakuru, Kenya.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian nationals who are proficient in English.
