Office Manager for English-Speaking Part Time Position in Bungoma, Kenya
We are hiring an experienced and organized Office Manager for our English-speaking office in Bungoma, Kenya. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring that all administrative tasks are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and maintaining office supplies
- Monitor and maintain office budget and expenses
- Oversee the work of administrative staff and ensure they are performing their duties effectively
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed by senior management
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, both physical and electronic
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave requests
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to promote efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Kenyan national preferred but open to other nationalities with valid work permit
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. Please note that this position does not come with accommodation.
