Job Title: Indian Executive Chef in Dubai
A luxury hotel in Dubai is seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that showcase authentic Indian cuisine while also incorporating international flavors
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as banquet and catering to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in budget planning and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine as well as international cooking techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays when needed
Preferences:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Experience working in Dubai or the Middle East region
- Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages
