As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create user-friendly and innovative mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards, Material Design principles, and best practices for mobile app development
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
