Game Developer - Contract Position in Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled game developer to join our team on a contract basis in the vibrant city of Porto, Portugal. As a game developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing gameplay mechanics and features for our upcoming games. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement gameplay mechanics and features according to game design documents
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members to create engaging gameplay experiences
- Write efficient, optimized code using industry-standard game development tools
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that arise during development
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve our games

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a game developer
- Proficient in C++, C#, or other programming languages commonly used in game development
- Experience working with Unity or other game engines
- Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience developing mobile games for iOS or Android platforms
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- A passion for gaming and keeping up with the latest industry news

This position offers a competitive salary of $1600 per month along with accommodation provided. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport.
