Power Engineer


A reputable power company in Bungoma is seeking a skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and operating power systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the field and possess strong technical knowledge of power systems.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new power systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing power systems
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring its proper functioning
- Performing quality control checks on all power systems
- Collaborating with other engineers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of power systems
- Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations
- Communicating with clients to address any concerns or questions about their power systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Power Engineer
- Strong technical knowledge of power systems, including distribution, transmission, and generation
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bungoma, Kenya (Indian nationals preferred but not required)

Job type: Contract (with potential for permanent position)
