Android Developer



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Braga. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform. This role requires a strong understanding of the latest mobile trends, technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Android Developer with at least 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Google's Material Design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like Retrofit, OkHttp, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1400$ per month. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal without accommodation provided.
