Claims Adjuster

As a Claims Adjuster in Zagreb, you will be responsible for reviewing insurance claims, investigating the facts and determining coverage and compensation for losses. Your primary focus will be on property and casualty claims, but you may also handle other types of claims such as liability and auto. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in the claims process.

Responsibilities:
- Review insurance claims and determine coverage based on policy guidelines
- Conduct investigations to gather facts related to the claim
- Analyze information gathered from various sources to evaluate the validity of the claim
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in the claims process
- Document all activities related to the claim in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience as an adjuster or in a similar role is a plus
- Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: $1100 per month.
