We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and a background in instrumentation.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and recorders
- Conduct preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation using specialized tools and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex technical problems
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while working on equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary: $1300 per month
