Typesetter

We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing company in Clairvaux. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text, images, and graphics to create visually appealing documents such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Responsibilities:
- Receive written material from editors and prepare it for publication
- Use specialized software to format text, images and graphics according to specific guidelines
- Ensure that all elements of the document are aligned and consistent in style
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from editors or clients
- Review final proofs for errors or inconsistencies before publication

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Solid understanding of typography, layout principles, and design concepts
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in typesetting or graphic design is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Clairvaux. While we prefer local candidates, we are open to applicants from other areas who are able to work remotely.

Fluency in English is not required for this position.
