Foundry Supervisor

As a Foundry Supervisor in our foundry located in Malindi, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality control of metal castings. You will supervise a team of foundry workers and ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the metal casting process
- Ensure that production quotas are met while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Train and supervise a team of foundry workers
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct inspections to identify any defects or areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Foundryman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of metal casting processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects in castings
- Familiarity with safety regulations in a foundry environment
- Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract: This is a full-time, permanent role.

Location: Malindi, Kenya (candidates from other African countries are also welcome)
