Milling Machine Operator

We are hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Pula, Croatia. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts in accordance with specifications. You will use your expertise to select proper cutting tools, adjust machine feeds and speeds, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating milling machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their machining properties
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision parts
- Select appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments for accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
