Claims Adjuster
As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating insurance claims and determining the extent of coverage and liability. You will review policy information, gather evidence and interview witnesses to assess the validity of claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
- Review policy information and gather evidence to validate or deny claims
- Conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and other parties involved
- Analyze and evaluate information to determine the extent of coverage
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities and decisions made
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the claim process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred
- Previous experience in insurance claims adjusting is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information quickly
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing policy information and evidence
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
