Facade Specialist

A leading construction company in Akron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Specialist to join our team. As a Facade Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining various types of facades on buildings and structures. You must have a strong understanding of building materials, construction processes, and safety regulations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Design and plan facades for new construction projects or building renovations
- Ensure that facades are structurally sound and meet all safety regulations
- Select appropriate materials for facades based on project requirements
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Install facades according to design specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform regular maintenance on existing facades to prevent damage or deterioration
- Troubleshoot any issues with facades and make repairs as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in facade design and installation
- Knowledge of building materials such as glass, metal panels, stone veneers, etc.
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position.

This position is located in Akron, Ohio.
