Architectural Technologist in Utena, Kenya



We are searching for an experienced and skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team in Utena, Kenya. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for designing and planning building projects, as well as overseeing the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess project progress
- Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the construction process
- Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship
- Communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in architectural design and construction
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
